These steps are referred to on other troubleshooting steps and should not be the first solution attempted.
Follow these steps to do a full power cycle
Shut down your PC
Switch off your power supply (if it does not have a switch, remove the cord)
Press your power button several times to get rid of any left over power
Switch on your power supply (or plug in the cord again respectively)
Boot up your PC
Quit and then launch SignalRGB as Administrator
